In 2014, the average selling price for a single family detached home in Parkview has now reached $628,026. That sold price average is up from last year, in 2014 Parkview was selling for $615,014. These average sold price values above are based on a single family detached home sale; the other property classes such as duplexes or condominiums are not included in these average sale price stats.  In the upper end / luxury price segment of the Parkview Edmonton real estate market, the highest price that a home sold for so far in 2014 has been $1,700,000.  That sale was in the East area of Parkview known as Valleyview.  This sale was of a 2500 square foot bungalow that overlooked the North Saskatchewan river valley.    At the entry level end of the price range in Parkview, the lowest sale price for a home in 2014 in the neighbourhood sold for $265,000. That home sale was the only home sold for less than $300,000 in Parkview this year.  It was a fixer upper that was on 149 street.  The average time it takes to sell a single family detached house in Parkview in 2014 has been 26 days.  That is quite a bit faster than the Edmonton average days on market of 40 days this year.  When you go back to 2005, the real estate property values in the Parkview neighbourhood have appreciated by 80%.

Looking at the condo market in Parkview, condominiums are selling on average for $253,750, and on average it takes 3 days to sell a condominium in Parkview this year. The highest price that a condo has sold for in the neighbourhood this year has been $260,000, and the most affordable condo in the neighbourhood sold for $247,500. All of the sales were in the Parkview Townhome condo complex, a complex built in 1971.
